Stave Lake, B.C. Canada

Located in the lower mainland on the BC coast (East of Vancouver). Travel down Hwy #1 (Trans Canada) through mission to the Dewdney Trunk Road. At the location shown in the last map pic, there is a guard house - not sure why the guy is there, he'll just wave you through. Travel up the now gravel road to the second bridge and turn right down a small logging road to a good unload spot. Or travel up the road another 10 minutes or so to the main unload spot.

The terrain is good for all levels of rider with an edge towards novice/intermediate. When the water in the lake is low (most of the time) there's some great mud running for 4x4 ATV's and trucks. There is also a great many bush roads leading to lookouts and back country lakes.

Dirt bikes and sport ATV riders will have fun here, but it's nothing special for that type of riding. Good day ride.

There is bush camping with no facilities.

We Ride

A word or two from Rich:

This page was set up primarily so that the folks at ALT.ATV had a place to share pictures of their machines and a word or two with passersby. The site has grown a bit from there. There are no ads on these pages and there is no cost for submission of your ATV  pictures or comments. The webmaster of this space cares very little about the content and even less about negative comments. Have fun, leave me alone, pull up a chair and grab a cold one, and enjoy the view.
